The Diving

Dense areas of soft corals await you as you descend, forming a colourful ecosystem that is home to large schools of anthias and damselfish.

In order to explore the walls and slopes, we will begin the dive by descending to a depth of 25 metres while maintaining the reef to our left. We shall continue on our journey to the site’s western most point.

Here we come across the highlight of the dive, the stunning 3 pinnacles rising up from the sea floor. In the deeper seas, you may come across magnificent 2 to 3 m long Giant Groupers that curiously approach divers.

Tank Rock can have moderate to strong currents, therefore it’s best to have a reef hook in case the current gets stronger. For divers who are keen to discover Raja Ampat’s rich underwater habitat, Tank Rock provides an outstanding experience as we make our way through the amazing coral gardens and intriguing pinnacles.
